FCA Celebrates 35 Years as Minivan Leader

To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the minivan, FCA US released an Anniversary Edition Chrysler Pacifica, Pacifica Hybrid and Dodge Grand Caravan. In 1983, the first minivan came off the Windsor Assembly Plant and quickly became the preferred family vehicle. Since then, Chrysler and Dodge continued to lead the way with style, innovation and performance and have sold more than 14.6 million minivans through the years.

35th Anniversary Edition Minivans

These 35th Anniversary Edition minivans are unlike anything you’ve seen before. They feature an all-black interior complete with Cranberry Wine stitching. The Chrysler Pacifica/Pacifica Hybrid 35th Anniversary Edition features a unique Liquid Chrome Chrysler Wing on the rear liftgate and front fascia grille. It also has special accent stitching located on the door trim, steering wheel, instrument panel plus the door handles.

The Touring L comes complete with eight-passenger seating, Mopar overhead DVD, memory driver’s seat and 18-inch wheels. The Touring L Plus features eight-passenger seating, a dual-pane sunroof and memory driver’s seat while the Limited also includes 20-inch wheels. On the Hybrid Touring L trim, you will gain access to the Uconnect 4C Nav complete with 8.4-inch display, 17-inch wheels plus a 13-speaker premium Alpine stereo system. The Hybrid Limited edition comes with all the same features plus adds 18-inch wheels as well.

As far as the Dodge Grand Caravan 35th Anniversary Edition is concerned, both the SE and SXT models include 17-inch aluminum wheels, specialized bright grille and fender badge. The SE model also comes with Stow ‘N Go second-row seats and a power driver’s seat. With the SXT model, you receive a Driver Convenience Group and navigation radio.
