Absolutely! The new Ram 1500 Night Edition available for the Big Horn and the Laramie comes outfitted with a monochromatic design that includes a black grille with body-colored surround and black badging. The Big Horn Night Edition rides on 20-inch black wheels, while the Laramie Night Edition rides on 22-inch black wheels. The new Ram 1500 Limited Black Edition reinforces the statement that everything is better in black. The completely blacked-out truck is outfitted with you guessed it black accent tow hooks, exhaust, R-A-M letters on the grille, door handles, side-view mirrors, grille surround, and bumper. The Ram 1500 Limited Black Edition also comes standard with a menacing sport performance hood, 22-inch black wheels, and a tonneau cover. The blacked-out appearance packages don’t stop there either the Ram Rebel Black Appearance Group also makes a comeback this year with a black skid plate, black wheels, and an all-black interior. A red interior is available as an option if you wanted to add some spice to your black accented exterior.
A variety of black accented appearance packages aren’t all that is new for the 2020 Ram 1500. Next, we’re going to take a look under the hood of this all impressive pickup truck so we can take a look at the all-new engine for the Ram 1500. The new third-generation EcoDiesel engine boasts the highest half-ton diesel torque at 480 lb-ft. The impressive numbers don’t stop there either the new EcoDiesel engine also gives the Ram 1500 the highest available half-ton diesel towing capacity of 12,560 pounds. While previous versions of the EcoDiesel engine have been available before for the Ram 1500 they have never been available to the Ram 1500 Rebel, until now. The Ram 1500 can also be outfitted with a 5.7-liter eTorque Hemi V8 with 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. While the standard engine is a 3.6-liter eTorque Pentastar V6 engine with 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. The maximum payload capacity for the 2020 Ram 1500 comes in at 2,300 pounds while the maximum trailer towing capacity is 12,750 pounds.
The improvements and new features of the 2020 Ram 1500 continue on when it comes to safety and security as well. The new Rebel Safety Group comes fully loaded with a slew of driver assistance features include forward collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control with stop, go and hold, automatic high-beam headlamps, and lane departure warning-plus. The entire Ram 1500 model lineup is now available with blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-path and trailer detection so you can rest easy knowing you and your trailer are maneuvering safely. The available 360-degree surround-view camera makes unloading and loading, hooking up a trailer, and parking a whole lot easier.
